Send Vicky a note01What exactly does a day-of coordinator do?+
A day-of coordinator steps in to manage the wedding timeline, communicate with vendors, direct the ceremony processional, oversee key reception moments, and calmly adapt when the unexpected happens.
02Is day-of coordination the same as wedding planning?+
No. Love Bird Weddings does not currently provide comprehensive wedding planning or event design. Most major plans, décor decisions, and vendor contracts should already be in place before coordination begins.
03Can we personalize our ceremony?+
Absolutely. Officiant services include a personalized ceremony script and unlimited revisions before the wedding. Spiritual elements can also be incorporated upon request.
04Do you travel outside Topeka?+
Yes. Travel throughout Topeka and Shawnee County is included. Weddings beyond the local service area are welcome, with a travel fee based on distance or overnight needs.
05Can you coordinate and officiate our wedding?+
Yes. The combined Coordination + Officiant package starts at $900 and brings both services together in one streamlined experience.
06What is outside an officiant’s role?+
Your officiant focuses on your ceremony rather than general wedding planning or coordination. After signing, the marriage license is handed to a designated family member, planner, or coordinator, and officiant coverage does not include the full reception.
07Why hire a professional instead of asking a guest?+
A trained coordinator becomes the point person for vendors and logistics, while a confident professional officiant guides the ceremony with warmth and clarity. The people on your guest list get to stay present and enjoy the celebration with you.
